6-Week Intensive Career Coaching Program
This 6-week program is designed to provide a step-by-step approach to the career transition process. At the conclusion of this program, clients have all the necessary tools to navigate their career transition, including a specific plan with actionable steps.
Gaining Career Clarity
Module 1 focuses on identifying your next career step. I will spend time asking you lots of questions about your career - what your like, don't like, your ideal working environment, strengths, weaknesses (and so much more). I will provide personalized exercises for you to complete that will assist in developing your career road map.
In addition, we will examine potential career paths based on your interest and research what steps you'd need to take to pursue those options.
Resume Review & Refresh
Once we have identified your career vision, we will work on you personal branding beginning with your job search documents. In module 2, we will take your existing resume and edit it to ensure it communicates your value add, stands out in the competitive job market and speaks to the type of role you are seeking.
This is an interactive process were you will not only finalize your resume, but also learn how to build an effective resume that leads to interview offers. The goal is to provide you with the tools and knowledge to understand what recruiters and hiring managers are looking for to ensure you never need to hiring a resume writer again.
LinkedIn is one of the most popular recruitment site used by hiring managers and recruiters. It is important that all job seekers have an up-to-date profile and understand how to utilize the platform to get the most out of it. In module 3, we will cover the ends and out of the LinkedIn platform, review how to set up an optimized profile, and how to start using LinkedIn to network.
The goal is to ensure your profile is attracting the type of opportunities that you are seeking, while also learning how to effectively use the tool to begin your job search process.
Launching a Productive Job Search
Module 4 is all about spending less time applying to any and every position, while also landing more interviews. We will review a how to implement a strategic job search with a project management approach. You will learn how to evaluate opportunities quickly using my signature D.R.E.A.M. method.
Now that you've identified your career vision, finalized your hiring documents and optimized your online presence, it's time to prepare for interviews. In Module 5, we will discuss how to effectively communicate your value add during the interview process to lead to more offers of employment.
We will cover what to do before, during and after the interview including how to research the company, how to "study" for the interview, polish your elevator pitch and review the fail proof method to answering interviewing questions.
Clients leave this module with the confidence to present and communicate their strengths and value add to employers, proving that they are the best choice to meet that employers' needs.
